Who is François Egger?
François Egger was born in Geneva in 1975 and studied literature and history.
Barely having obtained his Bachelor's degree in Literature, François Egger began his journalistic career at the Geneva newsroom Radio Lac/Radio Suisse Romande. After a year as a freelancer in Auckland (New Zealand) covering the victory of the Swiss challenger Alinghi in the America's Cup, he was hired by RTS in 2004.
He first worked in the Vaud and Geneva newsrooms for the 3 news editions: 12h45, journal des régions, 19h30. In 2009, he joined the Couleurs Locales team and participated in the launch of RTS's new regional news program, broadcast in Access prime time at 7:00 PM.
For more than 10 years now, he has been hired by companies as varied as AXA Winterthur, Induni, Banque Crédit Agricole Financement, Banque Mirabaud, Collège Champittet, and Grand Chelem Management for his qualities as a journalist-moderator.
