Who is Luc Julia?
As Technical Director and SVP Innovation at Samsung, Dr. Luc JULIA defined and led the group's strategy for IoT and is now dedicated to making these objects
smart.
Luc led Siri at Apple, was Technical Director at HP, and co-founded several startups in Silicon Valley, including ORB Networks, where he invented "place shifting."
He began his career at SRI International where he founded the Computer Human Interaction Center and participated in the creation of Nuance Communications, today a world leader in speech recognition.
Luc holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris and a PhD from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications
in Paris. He is currently a member of the French Academy of Technologies.
He is the author of the best-seller "Artificial Intelligence Does Not Exist," holds dozens of patents, and is recognized as one of the 100 most influential French developers in the digital world.Languages spoken by the speaker
