Who is Tanguy Cariou?
After a successful career as a navigator, the Swiss Tanguy Cariou became a Team Manager for professional sports projects and for coaching. He offers a global vision on project management and performance.
His personal motivation comes precisely from his past experience. As he often says: "My role is to manage and provide everything important for the performance of a project... Everything I would have wanted when I was 25-30 years old as a navigator."
After a sporting disappointment at the Olympics, where he participated as World N°1, a back injury disrupted the last 2 months of preparation. Tanguy Cariou digested this defeat, but above all, he learned a lot from his failure. He then decided to get involved in different sailing circuits rather than becoming a specialist in just one circuit.
He participated in different races: offshore racing with Groupama and Franck Cammas, America's Cup with French challenges and Alinghi, multihulls, Match Racing, etc. It was during these sporting stages that he was able to implement his taste for tactics and strategy.Languages spoken by the speaker
