Bertrand Pulman.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in 1976, then holding a PhD in anthropology from Paris 5 University in 2000, Bertrand Pulman has been immersed throughout his career in the field of research and teaching in human sciences.

Today, a professor of sociology and anthropology at Sorbonne Paris Cité, Bertrand Pulman is also responsible for a Master's program at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences sociales. He takes a serious interest in social foresight in three different areas: sport, family, and health. He is also a specialist in the dialogue between social sciences and psychoanalysis.

Bertrand Pulman's research on the sociology of sport has much to teach managers and business leaders. It profoundly illuminates our relationship to performance, our connection to difficulties and successes, and the functioning of teams. He shows how much physical activity and sport are societal issues, as they influence our well-being — especially at work — and our individual and collective health.

Regarding the sociology of the family, Bertrand Pulman demonstrates that the mutations and increasing diversity of family configurations must be taken into consideration, as they can impact corporate life.
