Daniel Yule.

From a young age, Daniel Yule showed the early signs of a strong character. After a few seasons with his family and at the Ski-Club Champex-Ferret, it was during his first ski race, on his 5th birthday (the Erika Hess Open in La Fouly) that it all clicked! He joined Swiss-Ski and scored his first points in the Europa Cup. He made his World Cup debut at the legendary Kitzbühel slalom. Following this promising season, he was promoted to the WC3 Future group with Didier Plaschy as coach. A season followed without major breakthroughs, but nonetheless successful. Daniel participated in a few World Cup races; achieved his first Europa Cup top 10; and accumulated many FIS victories. He then joined the WC3 group where he reunited with his former coach, Steve Locher. During the 2013-14 season, Daniel achieved excellent results with his first World Cup points in Bormio; 7th place in the Kitzbühel slalom; participated in the Sochi Olympic Games; and emerged victorious in the final Europa Cup slalom standings.

As a member of the national team, Daniel started the 2016/2017 season with the goal of staying in the top 15 of the World Cup slalom group, and perhaps even a podium finish at the World Championships in St. Moritz.Languages spoken by the speaker
