Denis Jacquet

An HEC 89 graduate and holder of a Master's in Business Law, Denis Jacquet first worked as a tax lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, led by Christine Lagarde. After the successful creation of his first company, H2I, in 1993, he became a true entrepreneurship addict and, in 1997, restructured the number one distance learning company, then rode the e-Learning wave with Edufactory, developed in 8 countries, which instilled in him the belief in internationalization.

A resolutely committed entrepreneur

In 2010, he founded Parrainer la Croissance (Sponsor Growth), a network dedicated to the growth of SMEs. Its objective: to show how growth SMEs are major vectors for building a prosperous and inclusive society. Thus, PLC quickly gathered over 6,000 entrepreneurs. The Club has now merged into the Day One Movement Clubs, which are opening in 4 countries (Brazil, USA, France, and Ivory Coast), with 4 meetings per year.

He contributed to the Pigeons movement (2013), and then took on the role of leader (International) for the Assises de l’Entrepreneuriat (Entrepreneurship Conferences) launched by the government and Fleur Pellerin. Since then, he has been consulted during presidential campaigns to propose measures on entrepreneurship and digital, at the intersection with societal issues.

Believing that intergenerational collaboration is the key to societal success and SME growth, he launched, with Parrainer la Croissance, the Growth Accelerator, an incubator that transfers senior executives from large groups to startups and SMEs. He then launched the first conference on the intergenerational challenge.

Finally, to demonstrate the colossal impact of Uberization, he decided to establish the Uberization Observatory (2016). The objective is to prepare France (initially) for digital transformation, by allowing "uberizers and uberized" to define their competitive framework, propose a vision for society in the face of challenges and upheavals, and make proposals for a political class that does not understand the stakes.

A Vision: Technology in Service of Humanity

He is the founder of the Day One Movement (2018), which is becoming one of the most important instruments worldwide to guide the vision that should drive technologies, in order to have a positive impact. It includes a foundation dedicated to providing a barometer on job transformation. This entity comprises 4 clubs worldwide and 10 working groups bringing together 60 global companies and 4 events worldwide (USA, Africa, Latin America, and Europe).

In 2022, Denis Jacquet decided to found Top Cream.
