لوران كومالبيرت studied law and political science and is also a graduate of the National School for Police Officers, from which he graduated as vice-major of his class in 1995.
He joined RAID in 1998 as a crisis negotiator and completed his training in 2000 at the FBI National Academy. Subsequently, he participated in the creation and animation of the crisis negotiator training module delivered by RAID around the world, bringing his experience in managing hundreds of critical cases such as hostage-takings, barricaded individuals, or even collective standoffs.
Since 2004, he has served as a speaker, negotiator, and advisor to companies, media, and governmental and non-governmental organizations, offering them his unique vision and experience related to kidnappings, extortions, diplomatic crises, etc. لوران كومالبيرت is also the author of numerous best-selling books on leadership, negotiation, and communication and teaches complex negotiation at HEC and Sciences Po Paris.
Finally, he and his associate, مروان ميري, inspired and participated in the creation of the series RANSOM, broadcast since January 2017. It retraces the life of a renowned negotiator known for his interventions in crisis situations worldwide.Language spoken by the speaker
