Nicolas Krauze, a French conductor, graduated from the Gnessin Institute and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where he earned five first prizes. He received instruction and advice from conductors such as Gennady Cherkassov, Zsolt Nagy, and Christoph Eschenbach.
For the past 15 years, he has conducted over 500 concerts worldwide, in both symphonic and operatic repertoires, invited by the greatest national and regional orchestras across Europe, as well as in Asia and Latin America. Each season, he conducts around fifty concerts on three continents. For the 2019/2020 season, he was invited to lead symphonic and operatic productions in France, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Brazil, and Argentina.
Beyond his career as a guest conductor, Nicolas Krauze has been the musical and artistic director of the Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle Europe for ten years, with whom he has conducted over 400 concerts. In September 2018, he also took on the role of principal guest conductor of the National Philharmonia of Ukraine, the first foreigner to hold this position in the country's history.
In addition to his career as a conductor, Nicolas Krauze, who is passionate about economics and international relations, is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (ScPo Paris). He is fluent in French, English, Russian, and Polish.
