Nils Frei.

Born on January 19, 1973, in Biel, Nils Frei has been a professional sailor since 1999. He quickly developed and demonstrated his qualities as a trimmer (of jibs, spinnakers, etc., which greatly influence boat speed), so much so that in 2001 he joined the Alinghi team, with whom he won the Louis Vuitton Cup in 2003, and then the prestigious America's Cup twice, in 2003 and 2007.

Nils Frei remained loyal to the Alinghi team, for whom he played a crucial role in their victories on the Lake Geneva Decision 35 circuit and the Extreme Sailing Series (aboard a GC32 flying catamaran) between 2007 and 2016.

As one of Switzerland's most experienced sailors, Nils Frei places particular importance on team values, respect, trust, and communication; his trilingualism is invaluable on board vessels with crews often from varied cultural backgrounds.

Nils Frei also participates in the evolution of watersports; in association with his Alinghi teammate Yves Detrey, he works on the NTFM Project, a small foiling catamaran pulled by a kitesurf sail.Languages spoken by the speaker

Nils Frei offers to host all your events with conferences in three languages, he can deliver throughout Switzerland from Geneva to Zurich, including Lausanne, and worldwide.Finding Nils Frei as a trimmer is no trivial matter: it is from this position, essential to a ship's crew, that the boat's speed depends. The trimmer must therefore demonstrate unfailing leadership, as the helmsman must follow their instructions when the vessel is sailing downwind, as well as excellent listening and concentration skills.

His motivation to open new avenues for watersports follows scientific developments in hydrodynamics, and you can count on one of his conferences to discover Nils Frei's world: water, wind, speed, leadership, motivation, and the appeal of new challenges.Conferences with Nils Frei in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
