Raphaël Domjan.

Raphaël Domjan is Swiss, originally from Neuchâtel, where he was born in 1972.

At 32, he embarked on a solar adventure and completed the first circumnavigation of the world using solar energy between September 2010 and May 2012. This was the epic journey of the catamaran PlanetSolar. This unprecedented and successful first initiative pushed him much further, much higher, as he now aims to fly into the stratosphere with a solar aircraft, the SolarStratos. A seasoned pilot, no machine intimidates him, and as a true explorer, he is capable of tackling any environment.

Raphaël is an adventurer, but he is also an ecological entrepreneur. He created a company specializing in solar data hosting, Horus Networks Sarl. This child of the sun is full of resources; he continuously launches new projects and takes the lead in his expeditions. From 2012, he began sharing his experiences during high-level conferences. He became a professional and a member of the "Global Speaker Association" to better convey a message of experimental and optimistic ecology.

The SolarStratos adventure was a very strong moment in his career as an explorer and speaker. This mission he set for himself, to reach the stratosphere with an aircraft powered by solar energy, has already taken him four years, and he hopes to reach the stratosphere by 2019.

Raphaël Domjan travels the world giving fascinating conferences where he shares his vision of modern and optimistic ecology.
