Speaker of the day: Mélanie Astles — Individual and Collective Motivation

Every day we spotlight one voice from the UnoMe network. Today: Mélanie Astles, Individual and Collective Motivation — one of the keynote speakers we recommend for corporate events and conferences in Al Ain, Riyadh and across the GCC.
Who is Mélanie Astles?
Mélanie's story is one of passion, perseverance, and overcoming obstacles. No one believed she could achieve her childhood dream of becoming a pilot when she left Lycée Albert 1er de Monaco at 18 to enter the workforce. When she took a job at a gas station in Roquebrune Cap Martin, the dream seemed very out of reach. But thanks to her hard work, she went from cashier to manager of several gas stations and saved money to pay for flying lessons, which she started at 21. From her very first year of aerobatics competition, she won a victory at the Coupe de France in the Espoir category.
With constant progression, she climbed the categories, winning national championships and her place within the prestigious French Aerobatics Team. In 2014, she finished seventh at the "advanced" world aerobatics championships and first in the women's ranking. In 2015, she was ranked the 5th best female pilot in the world in the highest category – Unlimited – and was a member of the French team that won the world title.
