Hugues Reiner.

Allegro con Brio: A Life Rooted in Art

The roots of a visionary conductor

At the heart of a family of illustrious writers, Hugues Reiner drew his artistic inspiration. Son of Silvain Reiner, an eminent disciple of Joseph Kessel, and Anne-Marie Vry, a renowned sociologist, Hugues grew up in a world where creativity and sociological reflection harmoniously intertwined. These solid foundations nurtured his passion for music, piano, violin, singing, and conducting. His exceptional journey began with the Orchestre des Jeunes de Paris, under the approval of Daniel Barenboïm. In 1982, he was appointed by the Ministers of Defense and Culture to create and lead the Chœur de l’Armée Française. This is how he began to leave his mark on musical history.

A Journey Through Musical Stars

Hugues Reiner conquered the prestigious stages of Paris, illuminating the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Salle Pleyel, and Salle Gaveau with his passion for the romantic symphonic and concert repertoire. With a repertoire including Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, and many others, he captivated audiences worldwide. His musical journey also led him to Eastern Europe, and as far as China, where his art transcending borders created a global echo. But among all his achievements, his contribution to the rebirth of the Sarajevo Orchestra during the war in Yugoslavia is a true musical epic that touched hearts worldwide.Language spoken by the speaker:
