Luc Alphand.

Born in the snow, it was natural that my first passion was skiing. I loved this sport and decided late in life to enter competition. Despite my late start and after years, I still managed to get on the podium with the best. I was truly delighted to have reached such a level. After 15 years of elite competition, I ended my skiing career.
Then, I was invited to rallies. This awakened the "speed" chromosome in me, and I was very quickly captivated by the thrills of these races.
To launch myself into this new discipline, I created Team Luc Alphand Aventures (LAA). This structure allowed me to finance my first car, training, and races. I raced 2 seasons for Renault, then 2 years with BMW XRaid. Finally, I raced 6 seasons with Mitsubishi as an official driver, before they withdrew from competition.
A serious motocross accident ended my career as an athlete, but I continue as an advisor. I therefore maintain contact with motorsports through a consultant mandate for France Télévision on the Dakar and also as a consultant for major alpine skiing events. I have also returned to motorsport as a consultant for the Silkway Rally.Languages spoken by the speaker:
