— Leadership and Management
Pierre Morand.

Pierre Morand is a talented business leader and mountaineer. He has successfully combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his thirst for conquering mountains, whether in mountaineering or extreme ski descent.
Until 2008, he managed a family business in metal construction: Morand, construction métallique in La Tour de Trême, Switzerland. Then, with 3 friends, he created a new company dedicated to his passion for climbing: Grimper.ch.
But alongside this entrepreneurial life, he dedicated a large part of his life to mountaineering, conquering the highest peaks in Europe and the world. He has been a certified UIAGM High Mountain Guide since 1986.
He began his ascents in 1974: Gastlosen, Grandes Jorasses Walker spur, Croz spur direct, Mont Blanc Frêney central pillar, Pilier d'Angle... Then from 1979 he tackled peaks across the Atlantic such as Baffin Island (rock climbing), Bugaboo or the famous Yosemite cliffs (Nose, Salathé, Halfdome...) and in South America in Peru's Cordillera Blanca. Of course, the Himalayas are also part of his achievements, as he climbed them many times between 1982 and 2014.
He spent the last thirty years accumulating high mountain feats, but he also devoted himself to steep slope skiing in the Alps and around the world.
His love for the mountains and his entrepreneurial spirit make him a high-quality speaker to motivate an audience.
